Launch Preview at the Consulate-General of the Netherlands in San Francisco

It was a big honor that the Consul General of the Netherlands in San Francisco Gerbert Kunst offered the opportunity to promote the book “7 Roles to Create Sustainable Success” at the start of the Dutch Trade Mission on Sustainable Mobility, Resiliency and Circular Economy to California, led by the Minister for the Environment Stientje van Veldhoven (later replaced Vice-Minister Roald Lapperre) from 11 – 16 November 2019.

The goal of the promotion was to present the prepublication of the book in the US, built a network of CSO’s and lecturers that might want to use the book for teaching and to thank the people featured and interviewed for the book, especially around the Bay Area.

The promotion started on Tuesday morning with a presentation and launch of the prepublication of the book at the kick-off of the Dutch trade mission at the Consulate of the Royal Kingdom of the Netherlands. Personal invitations were send to selected sustainable professionals on behalf of the Dutch Consul, to attend the presentation – next to the mission delegation. The Consul started the event with an opening and introduction. After the presentation of the book there was time for discussion. The 7 Roles were discussed and overall recognized. Also the need to develop the right skills for professionals working in the Circular Economy was confirmed. The event concluded with an interesting panel discussion with several CE entrepreneurs about doing business in US.
